Finance Test Revision

Simple interest variables, loan repayments, compound interest, formula choice, and table completion.

Ready0 / 0

One task per page

Start with the variable spotting, then build the exact exam skills.

The first section only asks students to identify I, P, R, and T. The later sections move through the same shapes as the finance test: total loan amount, monthly repayment, compound formula substitution, mixed formula choice, and tables.

Simple interest

I = PRT

P is principal, R is the decimal rate, and T is time in years.

Total owed

Total = P + I

For a fixed repayment plan, divide the total by years, then by 12 months.

Compound amount

A = P(1 + r)n

Use r as a decimal. Percent form is A = P(1 + r/100)n.

    Nice. The finance shapes are now separated.

    Students have practised identifying the variables before calculating, then choosing between simple and compound interest.
