Part A · Separate circles
Question 1 of 36
A
1
See what separate circles, overlapping circles and the space outside both circles mean. Read each statement, place values correctly, then use a supplied overlap to calculate the two “only” regions.
Read two group values and enter each one in its matching circle.
Read three values and place them in the left-only, overlap and right-only regions.
The overlap is supplied. Subtract it from each circle total to calculate the two side regions.
Read filled rings, count the whole system and those outside it, then build probability fractions.
Complete a two-set Venn diagram first. Then use the completed regions to calculate a requested probability.
You can enter Venn regions, calculate missing values, read four or more sets, and form probabilities from the full system.
